Anti-Semitism
This a series of posts explores anti-Semitism, its origins, the motivations behind it, its various manifestations, its consequences, and its possible future. The series also proposes a method for determining when an act or statement is anti-Semitic and concludes with some suggestions for remedying the consequences of anti-Semitism. A series of discussion questions is also included.

Determining Anti-Semitism
The following examples are presented to illustrate these motivation and context elements.
This same approach can be used to determine if actions of European Muslims against Jews qualifies as anti-Semitic or Nationalistic. The above tests should be applied to make this determination since the European Muslims are not in the same situation as the Palestinians living in the Middle East. The key test in the above tests is: “Holding Jews collectively responsible for actions of the state of Israel”. Since the European Muslims (and others, non-Muslim) are not threatened or are in a situation different from the Middle East, it would appear that these actors are holding the European Jews responsible for actions occurring in the Middle East. This is anti-Semitic, and any European (or other) country that condones this or does not condemn it is complicit in the anti-Semitism, with similar actions of condemning all Jews for the actions of one or a small group of Jews (collective responsibility, such as all Jews being responsible for the death of Jesus), being at the heart of many acts in history, such as justifications for expelling Jews from country after country
