2. Is it reasonable to believe that during the entire episode, Uriah, Bathsheba’s husband, did not suspect anything? Do you think he might even have been in on it at first (if his wife advanced, he might believe she would take him with her)?
3. With regard to Nathan, is it reasonable to believe that he was not aware of the David/Bathsheba dalliance? It was his job to be aware of everything going on in the court, and it is quite likely that he had spies everywhere. The same might be said of David’s sons since anything David did that might generate another heir affected them.
4. How old do you think Bathsheba was during this episode? David?
